On July 15, 2021, the County of Los Angeles Public Health Department announced it would modify its Health Order to require masking for everyone while indoors, regardless of vaccination status, effective Saturday, July 17 at 11:59 p.m. This order is in response to an increase in new cases since the June 15 reopening and concerns surrounding the Delta variant. Employers in Los Angeles County need to review and revise their policies accordingly. A copy of the news release can be found here.
