PB&W Recognized as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award Honoree by San Fernando Valley Business Journal

Pearlman, Brown & Wax has been named to San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards 2022 list in recognition of the firm’s efforts to advance DE&I within the firm and the greater community. Senior Associates Ada Rodriguez and Antwoin Wall represented the firm as DE&I Committee Co-Chairs at the first annual awards ceremony on August 17^th.

“We established Pearlman, Brown & Wax’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee earlier this year to formalize what the firm has been doing in the DE&I space since our inception in 1984. It’s gratifying that our initiatives are being acknowledged by San Fernando Valley Business Journal,” commented Ada. “Our goal is to continue fostering a diverse and inclusive firm where employees will want to come work.”

“I think one of the challenges [of DEI work] is putting forth something that is intentional and something we want to have an impact on without it coming across as a requirement,” commented Antwoin. “It’s something that the firm wants to develop and to grow, and it’s something that’s to be appreciated both by our internal staff and employees and of course externally.”
