Experience
Jose was admitted to the The State Bar of California in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in workers’ compensation law. He started his career with State Compensation Insurance Fund where he underwent intensive workers’ compensation defense training. He then continued his career in workers’ compensation on the applicant’s side. Jose understands how applicant attorneys will map out and develop their cases. Additionally, working on the applicant’s side he has interacted with numerous defense firms and defense attorneys. This has afforded him the opportunity to recognize what defense strategies are most effective based on the facts of the case. This provides Jose a distinctive perspective on how to effectively develop a litigation approach and provide experienced recommendations in the best interest of his clients.

In his free time Jose enjoys spending time with his wife and twin daughters, golfing, bodyboarding, traveling and attending concerts.
