Jay Rosenwald

Jay N. Rosenwald is a Senior Associate attorney with Pearlman, Brown and Wax in our Encino office.  For the past 20 years, he has primarily handled workers’ compensation defense litigation cases.  This includes representing self-insured employers, third party administrators, and insurance companies.  Moreover, he has defended Labor Code Section 132a and serious and willful claims directly for employers.

Jay has litigated cases from file inception through trial including appeals.  This includes arbitrating Petitions for Reimbursement/Contribution.  Jay is cognizant of the costly nature of protracted litigation and is particularly skilled in quickly resolving claims when it is in the best interest of his clients.

Before handling workers’ compensation claims, Jay represented insurance carriers defending civil tort claims, from inception to jury trials for 20 years.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.   Jay received a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton.

Jay enjoys cooking, spending time with his family in the outdoors, and going to museums and sporting events.
