PB&W Welcomes Employment Attorney Jonathan Brown

Pearlman, Brown & Wax, LLP is pleased to welcome Attorney Jonathan Brown to the Employment Law Group. Brown brings extensive experience representing employers in all aspects of employment law and workers’ compensation matters. His main focus at the firm includes litigating discrimination, wrongful termination and wage and hour law cases. He also puts his knowledge to work providing comprehensive counsel to employers in areas related to the employer-employee relationship and employment practices, including representing employers in workers’ compensation matters throughout the state of California, with the goal of helping companies minimize their risk.

For Jonathan, coming to PB&W meant finding his permanent professional home. “We’re a full-service employment firm with experienced attorneys who can do it all, whether it is in the realm of litigation, workers’ comp or advice and counsel work. That was very attractive to me in joining the firm,” he says. “The people and company culture at PBW are great, which really sealed the deal.”

In addition to his background representing employers at PB&W and two previous law firms, Jonathan has spoken extensively at seminars throughout the state about California labor, employment and workers compensation law.

He earned his juris doctor from Southwestern Law School in 2015. He also studied European business law and European human rights law at DePaul College of Law in Madrid, Spain. Jonathan received his undergraduate degree from U.C. Santa Barbara.

Away from the office, Jonathan plays as hard as he works. He is a musician, avid golfer, passionate Lakers fan, and enjoys spending time with his wife, newborn son, and goldendoodle named Fairfax.
